يُعد برنامج بكالوريوس العلوم في المختبرات الطبية أحد البرامج الأساسية بقسم العلوم الصحية بكلية الطب والعلوم الصحية في جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا، ويهدف إلى تخريج مختصين في علوم المختبرات الطبية يتمتعون بكفاءة علمية وعملية عالية في مجالات التحاليل الطبية المختلفة، مثل علم الأحياء الدقيقة، الكيمياء الحيوية، علم الدم، والمناعة. يركز البرنامج على التدريب العملي المكثف، مع دمج الجانب النظري بالتطبيقات السريرية الحديثة في مختبرات المستشفيات ومراكز التشخيص. كما يعزز البرنامج مفاهيم الجودة وسلامة المختبرات والبحث العلمي، ويؤهل الخريج لاكتساب المهارات اللازمة للعمل ضمن الفرق الصحية متعددة التخصصات. يساهم البرنامج في تلبية احتياجات سوق العمل المحلي والإقليمي، ويشكل قاعدة أكاديمية للالتحاق بالدراسات العليا في مجال المختبرات والبحث الطبي.

Program Mission
The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Program at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Science and Technology seeks to prepare and graduate a cadre specialized in laboratory diagnostics; Equipped with outstanding professional and scientific capabilities and skills; It contributes to community service and scientific research through a distinguished educational environment, efficient staff, modern curricula, and using modern teaching and learning techniques in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.
Course Plan
يُقدم برنامج المختبرات الطبية في جامعة العلوم والتكنولوجيا – عدن ضمن مسار دراسي يمتد لأربع سنوات أكاديمية (8 فصول دراسية)، بواقع 138 ساعة معتمدة تتوزع بين مقررات نظرية، عملية، وساعات مخصصة للتدريب الميداني والبحث العلمي.
يركز البرنامج على تكامل الجوانب النظرية مع التطبيق العملي في مجالات علم الأحياء الدقيقة، الكيمياء السريرية، علم الدم، المناعة، والطفيليات الطبية.
ويشمل البرنامج تدريبًا سريريًا إلزاميًا في مستشفيات ومختبرات معتمدة، إضافة إلى مشروع تخرج يُنفذ تحت إشراف أكاديمي. تعتمد المقررات المتخصصة على اللغة الإنجليزية، بينما تُدرس بعض المقررات الجامعية والمتطلبات العامة باللغة العربية، لضمان فهم أعمق ومرونة لغوية لدى الطلاب.
