Holding an educational workshop for women on breast cancer self-examination

The Student Affairs Department at the University of Science and Technology - Main Center, Aden, in cooperation with the University Health Unit and the Department of Human Medicine, held an educational workshop for women on self-examination for breast cancer, with the attendance of about 250 women. 

The workshop was held under the supervision of the Health Unit Officer, Dr. Aisha Mohammed Saif, and Dr. Nour Al-Nimr, with the participation of female medical students. 

The workshop targeted female university students, female university employees, and female university visitors. 

The workshop resulted in many female students, employees and university visitors being able to perform self-examination for breast cancer and realise the importance of early detection of the disease. 

Suspected cases were referred to the Breast Cancer Center for examination and necessary treatment.
