The College of Medicine and Health Sciences organizes a scientific lecture on sudden cardiac death in young people

The College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Medicine and Surgery Program, University of Science and Technology, Main Center - Aden, organized a scientific lecture entitled “Sudden Cardiac Death in Young People” on Monday evening, January 15, 2024 AD, which was hosted by the university in the Grand Hall from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The event was opened by Dr. Fatima Qahtan, Dean of the College of Medicine, welcoming the event presenter, Professor Muhammad Abdullah Bamashmous, Consultant Cardiovascular Medicine - University of Florence - Italy.

Professor Mohammed Abdullah Bamashmous reviewed several scientific research papers in which the professor participated in research centers with research experts in Italian research centers. 

During the event, the main causes of the disease were discussed, as well as methods of prevention and appropriate tools to reduce the risks of sudden heart disease.

The lecture was attended by the Acting President of the University, the Assistant President of the University for Academic Affairs, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine, and a number of academic staff from Yemeni universities, hospitals and health centers.
