Medical Laboratory and Pharmacy Students from Ash Shihr Institute of Medical Sciences Visit University of Science and Technology in Mukalla

This morning, Monday, August 21, 2023, laboratory and pharmacy students from Ash Shihr Institute of Medical Sciences visited the University of Science and Technology in Mukalla, as part of the field visits program conducted by the institute to familiarize students with university facilities, scientific research centers, and various facilities at the university.

The students began their tour of the university by visiting the College of Medicine and Engineering. They also viewed the laboratories, engineering workshops, and various medical facilities. They also visited the university library to view a collection of books and various references in the field of medical specialties. Students also learned about the Phantium, Biology, and Chemistry labs. The doctors and heads of medical departments gave them a brief explanation of each department and some practical experiments in the field of pharmacy and laboratories.

It is worth mentioning that the students expressed their happiness with this visit, thanking the university administration for the good reception and organization and conducting some practical applications for them in watching a group of previous scientific experiments conducted by the students and the research projects carried out by the center. The students also applied themselves to some of the experiments conducted for them in the biology lab and laboratories.
