Registration commencement for MBBS Programme
This morning, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 AD, Prof. Dr. Abdul-Ghani Hamid Ahmed, Acting President of the University of Science and Technology, inaugurated the registration process at the main center in Aden, and inaugurated the start of registering new students in the medicine and surgery program, which came as a result of great and continuous efforts from preparation And preparation for two years, during which the requirements of opening the program were fulfilled in terms of infrastructure, laboratories and laboratories, the provision of teaching staff, and the construction of the teaching university hospital, which consists of seven floors, with a capacity of 400 to 500 beds, and twenty training halls, in addition to the various medical departments.
The inauguration of registration in the medicine and surgery program at the university comes as a continuation of the excellence of the university’s outputs in all disciplines, especially the specialization of general medicine and surgery, where the university has graduated more than twenty previous batches, and the opening of the program in the main center in Aden came as a summary of the efforts and experiences that have accumulated during the extended university experience. .
At the inauguration, the Acting President of the University commended the efforts made by the university staff in preparing and preparing for the registration process. He also noted the importance of taking all necessary steps to facilitate the registration process, and that this be accompanied by educating students of the most important relevant guidelines and instructions, focusing on the importance of awareness that Registration for this year is carried out in parallel between the admission and registration committee in the university building and the electronic registration through the university’s website without the student having to attend, noting that the inauguration of the registration process took place in the two courses, regularity, e-learning and distance education.
The inauguration of the registration process and the inauguration of registration in the Medicine and Surgery program were attended by Dr. Muammar Muhammad Al-Qutaibi, Assistant to the President of the University for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Fayez Ali Al-Tamimi, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and Dr. Nasr Al-Saqqaf, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Baghdadi, Head of the Department of Human Medicine, and Prof. Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Aghbari, Secretary General of the University, d.
