In order to serve the educational process and activate community participation, the University of Science and Technology - Aden sponsored the Fifth Dental Conference (Golden Sponsor), which was held in the temporary capital of Aden for three days (21-24/02/2021 AD).
The opening session of the conference was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdul Ghani Hamid Ahmed - Acting President of the University, Dr. Munir Al-Abadi - Assistant President of the University for Student Affairs and Community Centers. They also visited the exhibition held at the conference, toured its wings, and opened the university’s pavilion at the conference and praised it, and thanked the members of the organizing committee, and the male and female students who participated in preparing the pavilion and the conference.
The students of the University of Science and Technology - Aden had an active role in coordinating, arranging and making the conference a success, under the direct supervision of Dr. Samah Al-Amri - Head of the Dental Department, who also chaired the jury on the third scientific day.
Headed by Dr. Munir Al-Abadi - Assistant to the President of the University, the university delegation participating on the last day of the conference, and received the conference shield from the conference president, Dr. Muhammad Al-Saqqaf, Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Aden, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdul Raqib Al-Haidari, and the President of the Dental Syndicate, Dr. Awsan Hamid, in appreciation and gratitude for the active contribution of the university, and its distinguished and remarkable role in the success of the conference. He praised Dr. Munir Al-Abadi with the conference team, and thanked them for their efforts, pointing out the importance of such scientific activities for students, as they contribute to strengthening the students' level, and increase their distinction and creativity.
