Signing a joint cooperation agreement with the University of Islamic Sciences USM
At the beginning of 2021, a joint cooperation agreement was signed between the University of Science and Technology (the main center in Aden) and the University of Science Malaysia, in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
This agreement comes within the framework of the two universities' desire to offer the University of Malaysian Science programs in Yemen, as this would transfer the University of Malaysia's expertise in the field of research and postgraduate programs to students in Yemen through the University of Science and Technology.
The University of Science Malaysia (USM) is one of the leading universities in the field of research, and is ranked within the rank 35 According to the QS Ranking of Universities in Asia 2021.
The agreement aims to provide learning opportunities by offering graduate programs in a range of disciplines, in addition to contributing to the dissemination and consolidation of scientific research skills among students in a way that enables them to search, acquire and produce knowledge.
The areas of partnership and cooperation between universities include teaching courses for graduate students, joint supervision of scientific theses for master’s and doctoral students, providing continuing education programs, cooperation in organizing seminars and scientific conferences held by either university, publishing scientific research, and professional development programs in a number of fields. .
